I translated the whole games room and picked out a few of my favorites. I will never get over Terror Mountain translating to “Terrorist Hill.”
The Japanese version of Neopets hasn’t updated since 2008, but it will still allow you to visit it with all of your account information intact, even if you have things released since then.
When an item is created, it is created in all languages at once. It is then up to the staff of each version of Neopets to finalize the item in their respective language. Since the Japanese version no longer has anyone staffing it, this means you can see beta and placeholder item information simply by owning any item released within the past four years!
